eileen's 'unique' way of answering calls.
1.customer: i thought it is a coverage for lifetime?answer that we would give: yes it covers you for lifetime but the maximum payout is only for 6 years.
eileen: yes but we have limited cash to give till 6 years.
2.eileen: Good afternoon this is Great Instant. ( can never pronounce Great Eastern) .. the prelium..nium ( can never pronounce premium) you have to pay is ..
3.customer: can i send by email to say i wanna cancel the policy?
eileen: yescustomer: so you mean you all will follow my instructions on the email right?
eileen: hmm.. no
customer: then why do i send the email fo if you don't follow???
4.customer: what is eldershield?answer that we would give: it is a lifetime coverage for disability, which is an automated plan by the government for those over the age of 40.
eileen: it is a plan automated by the government for the disable people. customer: disable??? (must be shocked cos he's perfectly healthy and mobile)
hahaha. she's so funny can. me and pris never failed to laugh at the calls she answered.
but she improved quite a lot already =)
and there's one very very nasty call that pris received today.
customer: how can you auntomatically deduct from my medisave w'out my consent to sign up, and i dint even know about the policy at the first place!?
pris: it's an automated plan by the government, so most of them didn't know until we send them the letter.
customer: but how can great eastern do that?! it's a lot of money you know, i didn't say i wanna sign up!
pris: but it's automated by the government! we're just following the instructions!
customer: i mean you all cannot do that! who can i talk to for that. ask your manager to tell me or something.
pris: it's automated by the governement like i've just said. even if i transfer you to my manager, she will be telling you the same thing.
customer: but i want an explanationeven though i've explained to him like 3 times already.
pris: but my manager is not free to talk to you now, she ask me to tell you the same thing, that this plan, is automated.
customer: automated by government, (sounding as if we're pushing this matter around) then who can i talk to for that?!
pris: oh government. (sarcastically)
customer: you mean i call LKY to ask him?! (trying to be funny)
pris: CPF is part of the government as well. you can call them then. ( i asked you to call government company but i didnt ask you to call the prime minister!)
customer: okay ,
then hang up.arghh. i hate getting myself angry everyday at work.i was so frustrated by one customer today, who wants so many things to be told to her. and when i answered her questions one by one, she said that she wants everything to be told to her at the same time.even if we have many mouths around to answer diff thing at the same time, do you have so many ears to listen!since she thought things could be done that way, i bet her intelligence wasn't high enough for her to understand so much as well!
